Family Support Organization of Mercer County
Youth Partnership
The FSO of Mercer County needs dedicated youth who want to
make a difference in their community. The group meets once a week.
Caregivers are responsible for transporting youth to and from the meetings.
The purpose
of this group is to educate the community about mental illness in youth, to
advocate for youth with mental illness, and to help eliminate the stigma of
mental illness.
To qualify to
be part of this very important group the youth must be between the ages of
13 and 17, and be affiliated with the CMO. Youth must have maturity level
that will enable them to responsibly participate in the program. They should
have a desire to educate the community about mental illness in youth, and be
able to work under the guidance of a Youth Partnership Coach.
Anyone
interested in participating in this group should contact Kelly Mich at
609-581-6891 ext. 308 or by e-mail at
kmich@fsomercer.org.
